大纽约地区清华校友会2014职业发展系列活动第[1]期

 ——金融行业概谈及新生求职

本次活动邀请到四位嘉宾以Panel的形式向大家概要的介绍金融行业的细分领域，这些领域间的区别和关联，不同领域中主要的公司及分布，分享他工作多年在各领域中的工作感受和心得体会，同时给出指导性的求职规划和准备工作的建议以及可以参考的网络和活动资源。 

活动将分Panel和观众提问两个部分。工作组将筛选出注册阶段填写的部分问题让嘉宾优先解答。本次会场容量为100人，以付费和填写问题(必填)为标准，先报先得，对于未能报上名的观众将予以退还报名费。

 活动大致流程：

1.四位嘉宾自我介绍(15-20 mins)

2.各自细分行业介绍，该细分行业的工作内容，行业内部的大致分工(哪些不同级的职位)，自己所在的职位的职责，与该细分行业打交道的其它行业或部门简介，这些行业间的关系，业内比较顶尖的公司列举 (1 hr)

3. 描述一下各自一天的工作流程，及给新生的求职建议(30mins)

嘉宾简介： 

Mr. Hu is a Portfolio Manager at BlueCrest Capital Management LLP, focusing on global macro trading especially at inflation markets.  Before joining BlueCrest, Mr. Hu was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse responsible for US Linear Rates Trading and Global Inflation Business.  Prior to that, he was an Executive Vice President at PIMCO, in the Real Return team and co-managed the largest inflation fund group in the world. Mr. Hu holds a Ph.D. degree from California Institute of Technology and a BA degree from Tsinghua University.

Ms. Cao is a Client Partner at Korn Ferry, covering the financial services sector in the U.S. and in China. She has placed senior executives across functional areas at multinational and Chinese companies, from Fortune 500 to private equity-backed firms. Previously, she worked at World Bank, Citi, JP Morgan Chase and CVIC. Ms. Cao holds an MBA degree from Stanford University and a BA degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University. .

Mr. Ma, CFA and FRM, is a Vice President in financial institution group, HSBC securities inc., working in coverage role as a relationship manager covering mostly Asian banks. Previously, he worked as corporate banker in Bank of China NY branch, and various roles in Bloomberg. Mr. Ma holds an MBA degree from NYU Stern and a BA degree from Tsinghua University.

Mr. Hu is a co-founder of Delpha Capital Management, a start-up hedge fund in the space of quantitative trading.  Prior to that, he worked at Knight Capital (now merged with Getco to form KCG) for five years focusing on the prop trading business in equities and futures across US and Europe. He also worked at a prop trading company specialized in options market making. Mr. Hu holds a Ph.D. degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BA degree from Tsinghua University.
